Bizsafe Star and ISO45001

NEX is proud to announce that we have been accredited with Bizsafe Star and ISO45001: 2018 for promoting and implementing robust workplace safety and health risk management and practices, to create a safe work culture and environment for our staff and contractors.

Our management recognizes that implementing effective safety and health practices is crucial to promoting the well-being of employees and that happy and secure employees are essential to the overall success of the organization.

While both Bizsafe and ISO 45001 are targeted at workplace safety, there are some minor differences. ISO 45001 is an internationally recognized standard and is an applicable standard worldwide that will demonstrate our leadership and workforce’s participation in identifying and prioritizing risks, and robust safety management.

Bizsafe is similar to ISO 45001, but developed and recognized locally in Singapore by the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Council and the Tripartite Alliance for Workplace Safety and Health, and supported by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM). Bizsafe is a multi-level certification, with Star being the highest tier. Bizsafe also has additional safety considerations covering acts of terrorism, disease outbreaks, and mental health.
